Product description
This exceptional vintage spider lamp dates back to the 1950s and features the typical Sputnik or spider lamp design. Twelve slender, brass-colored arms radiate outwards and downwards from a central, cream-colored body. At the ends are conical sockets in muted colors such as olive green, gray, and dusty rose. Together with the brass elements, this creates a combination of playful form and elegant materiality characteristic of the Mid-Century era. The twelve light sources are oriented differently, giving the lamp a dynamic, sculptural appearance. The conical canopy, also made of brass-colored metal, echoes the design language of the chandelier. Condition: Good vintage condition with age-related wear and patina on the metal surfaces. Small scratches and abrasions are present and underscore the lamp's authentic character.
