Product description
This vintage pendant lamp by Dijkstra is an iconic example of Space Age design. The design is characterized by the striking mushroom-shaped shade and the flowing lines of the fixture, making it a sought-after piece for lovers of retro lighting. The lamp is crafted with a white glass shade set in a chrome-plated metal frame. The fixture features a pull cord, allowing the height to be easily adjusted. The combination of white glass and polished chrome is typical of the design period and ensures a bright, diffuse light distribution. The object is in good condition, commensurate with its age and previous use. The original finish and character of the lamp have been well preserved, contributing to its authentic appearance. This Dijkstra lamp looks excellent above a dining table or in a seating area. The design fits seamlessly into vintage, eclectic, and modern interiors alike, where it serves as a functional and striking design element. Unfortunately, the ceiling rose has a small tear in the plastic, which has been glued.
