Product description
For sale: a characteristic vintage Space Age eyeball floor light with two adjustable spots from the 70s. An iconic design classic (in the style of Dijkstra, Herda and GEPO) that immediately adds atmosphere and a retro vibe to your interior. The lamp is equipped with two spherical spots (eyeballs) made of brushed aluminum. The spots hang in chrome sliding brackets and can be moved independently up and down along the central rod. In addition, the spheres are tiltable, allowing you to perfectly use the lamp as direct reading light or as indirect mood lighting on the wall. The lamp stands on a sturdy, heavy matte black base. Condition: The lamp is in good, fully working vintage condition. Technically, both spots light up excellently. Cosmetically, the lamp has gained some character over the years: there are superficial scratches and a few small dents/pits on the aluminum of the upper sphere (see detail photos). This is logical and honest vintage patina for an object of more than 50 years old, for which the price has naturally been adjusted. Specifications: • Type: Floor light (2-light) • Style: Space Age / Mid-Century Modern • Period: 70s (Seventies) • Material: Brushed aluminum, chrome and metal • Features: Spots independently adjustable in height and tiltable • Dimensions: Height 162 cm Width 25 cm
