About this seller
ProfessionalProduct description
This English-style secretary desk is a classic piece of furniture made of solid wood. Its timeless design and robust construction make it an elegant and functional addition to any interior.
Manufactured in England, this piece of furniture features a wooden structure with a warm and rich hue, likely mahogany. The front consists of an upper drawer, a central drop-front, and two lower doors. The drop-front opens to reveal a leather-lined writing surface as well as several compartments and small storage drawers. Details such as the fluted side columns and tapered legs emphasize its classic aesthetic.
The furniture is in good overall condition, bearing witness to its history and past use. The wood finish has developed a patina that gives it character, while the structure remains solid and functional. The brass locks and handles are original.
Ideal for an office, living room, or library, this secretary desk offers a discreet workspace and multiple storage solutions. It integrates harmoniously into classic, Parisian, or eclectic decors, bringing a touch of British sophistication.
