About this seller
Private sellerProduct description
This unique vintage wall hanging combines the rich texture of Smyrna knotwork with refined embroidery details. The central butterfly motif, crafted from soft wool, creates a striking three-dimensional effect that immediately catches the eye and lends a playful character to the design. The tapestry is made from high-quality wool and textiles, employing various handicraft techniques to form a versatile patchwork design. The vibrant colors, including orange, green, blue, and brown, contribute to the warm and artisanal appearance of the whole. The thick structure of the material also offers sound-dampening properties, making it both an aesthetic and functional addition. The wall hanging is in good condition, retaining its original colors and textures. The combination of high-pile knotwork and crisp embroidery showcases the craftsmanship with which this piece was made and gives it an authentic vintage look. This expressive artwork fits perfectly into a bohemian, eclectic, or vintage interior. It not only adds color and texture to a space but also contributes to a warm and inviting atmosphere in the living room or bedroom.
