Product description
This striking vintage armchair, originating from 1970s Germany, represents the bold and functional design language of the Space Age era. It is distinguished by its elegant tubular chrome sled base, which provides a continuous, flowing silhouette and exceptional stability.
The chair’s shell is made of styrodur, a durable and lightweight material that allowed for the fluid curves characteristic of 1970s German furniture design. The low-profile silhouette, integrated armrests, and deep seating offer remarkable ergonomic comfort.
The armchair has been professionally reupholstered in a soft, textured fabric with a tweed-like weave. The color palette features a harmonious blend of yellow, cream white, and warm beige.
Full professional restoration.
The tubular chrome frame has been professionally polished, preserving the original surfaces while retaining a subtle vintage patina and visible signs of time that add to its authentic 1970s character.
