Vintage "hourglass" slatted floor lamp designed by Swedish icon Hans Agne Jakobsson for the Swedish quality brand AB Ellyset Markayrd, 1960s.
Unique and rare item!
Beautiful floor lamp in the shape of an hourglass with two light bulbs (regular E27 fitting). The light bulbs emit a soft glow through the pine veneer slats.
This large lamp is a true statement piece and has all the hallmarks of a Hans Agne Jakobsson design. Warm, subdued light, a playful yet refined shape, and the wooden veneer, which characterizes his background as a furniture maker. A one-of-a-kind lamp!
In good condition. One small crack in a veneer strip, see photo. This has been factored into the price. Higher price range.
