This Sideboard is an original from the 1950s. The Furniture was originally designed as a TV cabinet, but can also be used as a bar cabinet.
Special features are the rotatable table top and the red, dominant back wall in the Display cabinets.
The furniture surfaces are finished with Makoré (African pear tree) and beech veneer.
The Display cabinets / bar is accessed via two sliding Glass doors . The back wall is covered with a red velor fabric and decorated with a golden cord. There is a Mirrors on the left and right. The wooden floor is stained black.Condition:
The piece of furniture is stable, functional and shows no damage. There are signs of use. There is a defect on the glass pane, see photo. However, this can only be seen when it is open.
Processing:
The Furniture has been thoroughly cleaned. We clean and treat the wooden surfaces intensively with specially cleaned linseed oil in connection with an odorless and residue-free hydrocarbon solvent. This method is recommended by restorers.
