Product description
This vintage sideboard is a design by William Watting for the Dutch furniture manufacturer Fristho. The piece is a characteristic example of mid-century Dutch design, combining clean lines with a mix of materials. This specific model, from the 'Modulus' series, stands out with its contrasting fronts and elegant, minimalist base.
The cabinet is made from a combination of wood and metal. The body and top have a warm, rich wood grain, while the doors and drawer fronts are finished in bright white. The sideboard stands on slender, V-shaped metal legs that give the furniture a floating appearance.
The sideboard has recently been restored and its overall condition is very good, with a character appropriate for its age. The construction is solid and all parts, including the original handles and internal shelving, are present and functional.
