Product description
This authentic vintage sideboard dates back to the 1960s and was manufactured in Germany.
Originally part of a living room set as a sideboard, it combines functional design with the stylish charm of Mid - Century Modern.
The surface is finished with fine Makoré veneer (African pear wood) and birch veneer, and the fronts have also been polished to a high gloss. An original key is included.
There is generous storage space behind two elegant wooden hinged doors, divided by a wooden shelf. The usable heights of the compartments are 19 and 20 cm - ideal for storing crockery, books or decorations.
A real collector's item for lovers of GDR design, retro furniture and the living style of the 60s.

➡️ Condition: The piece of furniture is stable, functional and has no damage. Signs of use are present. ➡️ Reconditioning: The furniture has been thoroughly cleaned. Light restoration work has been carried out, e.g. the furniture lid and the legs have been newly stained and varnished. We clean and treat the wooden surfaces intensively with specially purified linseed oil in combination with an odorless and residue-free hydrocarbon solvent. This method is recommended by restorers.
