The sideboard is an original from the 60s. It consists of two elements. The box-shaped cabinet section stands on a trestle with four conical legs. The surfaces of the cabinet are finished with walnut veneer. A key is included.
Behind the two hinged doors is a storage space divided by a wooden shelf. The usable heights are 22 and 24 cm.

The sideboard saw the light of day on August 16, 1961 under the name "living room cabinet model 579/31". The manufacturer was VEB Oberlausitzer Möbelwerke Neugersdorf in Germany.

The piece of furniture is stable, functional and has no damage. Signs of use are present.
➡️ Reconditioning:
The furniture has been thoroughly cleaned. The furniture lid and the side panels have been refurbished. We clean and treat the remaining wooden surfaces intensively with specially purified linseed oil in combination with an odorless and residue-free hydrocarbon solvent. This method is recommended by restorers.
