About this seller
ProfessionalProduct description
A sculptural vintage set consisting of a metal wire shelving unit with three shelves and a matching U-shaped side table or display stand. Defined by its open grid construction and strong geometric lines, the set has a striking architectural presence and works particularly well as a statement display piece.
The airy metal mesh structure gives both elements a visually light but highly graphic character, allowing displayed objects to remain fully in view while still creating a strong spatial frame around them. The shelving unit is especially effective for presenting books, ceramics, fashion, lighting, or collectible objects in a more staged and dramatic way, while the matching U-shaped piece can function as a side table, pedestal, plinth, or secondary display surface.
This is a particularly versatile set for commercial interiors, including boutiques, showrooms, studios, galleries, hospitality spaces, or window displays, where objects need to be presented in a more curated and theatrical way. At the same time, it also works well in a domestic interior as an unconventional shelving and display solution with a distinctly sculptural, almost installation-like quality. Finished with black plastic feet.
Condition Report
Good vintage condition with age-related wear consistent with use. The metal mesh construction remains structurally sound and presents well overall.
