Vintage Sculptural Handle Vase – Pink Mother-of-Pearl Luster & Gold – Approx. 1950s/60s
Unique vintage ceramic handle vase / solifleur in the shape of an elegant, elongated hand and forearm.
The vase features a beautiful pink mother-of-pearl or luster glaze that shimmers iridescently depending on the angle of light. Around the base, it is decorated with two rows of gold-colored relief details.
The hand itself forms the vase: a single flower or small bouquet can be placed through the opening in the palm. Even without flowers, it is a striking sculptural object.
Dating: Presumably approx. 1950s–60s
Material: Glazed ceramic
Color: Mother-of-pearl pink / iridescent with gold
Height: Approx. 21–22 cm
Condition: Flawless – no chips, cracks, or repairs
Unfortunately, the original label is no longer present. On the underside, the residue/imprint of the glue from the original label is still visible. The object is otherwise unmarked; therefore, the maker and country of origin are unknown.
