This is an authentic vintage floor vase from the West German manufacturer Scheurich Keramik. The piece is an excellent example of the 'Fat Lava' style, popular in the mid-20th century, recognizable by its model number 239-41.
The vase is made of ceramic and has a height of 41 centimeters. The design features a layered drip glaze, where a creamy white, foamy texture contrasts with an underlayer of deep brown and earthy tones. The interior is finished with a dark, glossy brown glaze, underscoring the quality and attention to detail of West German pottery from that period.
This item is in very good vintage condition, testifying to careful preservation over the years. A special detail is the presence of the original Scheurich sticker on the belly of the vase, a feature often lost and increasing its collector's value. The vase is marked on the bottom with the model number and 'W. Germany'.
