Beautiful vintage Scandinavian lounge chair with matching footstool, from an old furniture collection. This is an old showroom model / old stock that was not normally used in a home. As a result, the set is in very beautiful original condition. The armchair is constructed from bent laminated wood with a strong fabric support structure and thick, deeply tufted cushions. The beige upholstery has a natural linen-like texture and has been professionally cleaned. The design shows strong similarities with Scandinavian lounge chairs attributed to the Norwegian designer Ingmar Relling and the Siesta family.
