Product description
Vintage Scandinavian footstool (pouf) in wood with a seat covered in ecru bouclé fabric. The dark wooden structure elegantly contrasts with the newly upholstered seat, creating a piece that is both discreet and refined. The design cleverly integrates a hidden storage compartment, making it an addition as practical as it is decorative for any interior. The structure is made of solid wood with a dark, almost black finish. The four tapered and cylindrical legs are typical of mid-century furniture, ensuring stability and visual lightness. The seat is covered in a cream-colored bouclé fabric, offering a rich texture and pleasant comfort. The upholstered lid lifts to reveal a practical storage space, ideal for storing magazines, remote controls, or other small items. Presented in excellent vintage condition, this stool has been carefully maintained. The upholstery and bouclé fabric are recent, guaranteeing a clean and comfortable seat with no signs of wear. The wooden structure is solid and stable, showing minimal patina that testifies to its history without compromising its aesthetic appeal. Versatile, this piece of furniture can serve as a footstool next to an armchair, an extra seat in a living room or bedroom, or even a small occasional coffee table. Its timeless style allows it to blend harmoniously into Scandinavian, mid-century modern, or contemporary decors, adding a touch of warmth and functionality.
