Saraband carpet, woven in the mountainous region of sar-e band located south of the Shahrestān of Arāk and east of Borujerd. Richly composed of boteh miri motifs with a central diamond medallion and four spandrels repeating the boteh motif in pure virgin wool and natural dyes. A delicate border of sinuous lines and zoomorphic motifs, symbolizing eternity and continuity, surrounds the ornamentation of this exquisite piece. Timeless, it will add a warm, colorful ethnic touch to both contemporary and classic interiors.
