This vintage kitchen storage jar is decorated with an image of an Indian tree on the jar and the lid. In beautiful pink and green shades. Made and signed by Sadler, England. In very good condition.
James Sadler started his company in 1882 as Sadler & Co in Burslem, United Kingdom. The company and the name Sadler (but not the factory), along with the designs and archives, were acquired by Churchill China, who continued to use the name Sadler for teapots and other tableware for the collectors' market. It appears that Churchill continued to produce collectibles until approximately 2021.
