Beautiful vintage pull-down pendant lamp dating from approximately the 1970s, featuring a large sculptural metal shade. Its wide, elegantly curved silhouette is reminiscent of the iconic Semi pendant designs by Claus Bonderup & Torsten Thorup for Fog & Mørup, making it a wonderful example of the Scandinavian-inspired Space Age aesthetic of the period. Please note: this lamp is not marked or authenticated as a Fog & Mørup Semi pendant. It is an independent vintage design with a similar aesthetic. The metal shade has a striking glossy red exterior and white interior. Its pull-down mechanism allows the suspension height to be adjusted, making it particularly attractive above a dining table. The shade support is removable and the pull cord can be replaced. Diameter approx. 46 cm. Minimum height approx. 55 cm, extendable.
