This vintage chest of drawers by the Italian manufacturer Dal Vera is a characteristic example of European design from the late 1970s. The piece combines a warm wood veneer finish with a striking natural rattan surround, resulting in a silhouette that feels both organic and structured.
The construction consists of a sturdy wooden frame, finished with a golden-brown veneer layer and accented by rattan edges and spherical wooden legs. The piece features three spacious drawers and an upper compartment with a drop-down flap, which can serve as a writing desk or extra storage space. Integrated lighting is located inside. The drawers are fitted with recessed brass-colored handles. The original Dal Vera factory label, dated April 1979, is present on the back.
The chest of drawers is in good vintage condition, commensurate with its age and use. The original finish has been preserved, with the rattan and wood having developed an authentic patina that contributes to the character of the piece. This piece of furniture comes into its own perfectly in an eclectic or bohemian interior.
