Product description
This vintage table lamp, model 'Halostar Table 50', was produced in the 1980s by the renowned German manufacturer Osram. The design is characterized by a distinct postmodern aesthetic, where clean geometric lines and a functional design language come together in a striking silhouette. The lamp is crafted from black plastic and metal, resulting in a robust yet refined construction. The rectangular base provides stability and houses the switch, while the double arm supports the adjustable shade. The shade features subtle perforations that contribute to heat dissipation and the visual character of the object. The original label on the underside confirms production in Germany and specifies the technical details, including a maximum capacity of 50W at 230V. The object is in good, functional condition consistent with its age and previous use. The original finish has been preserved, contributing to the authentic appearance of this vintage piece. This Osram Halostar table lamp is a distinctive addition to a modern or industrial interior. The fixture functions excellently as focused task lighting on a desk or as an architectural accent on a sideboard or side table.
