About this seller
Private sellerProduct description
This is a vintage Sculpture of a Boxer dog, made of porcelain in Italy. The piece stands out due to its considerable size and the expressive, realistic depiction of the breed.
The Sculpture is made of white glazed porcelain, which provides a shiny and reflective finish. With a height of approximately 69 cm, a depth of 45 cm, and a width of 25 cm, this is a substantial decorative object. The bottom is marked 'Made in Italy' and with a stamp of the presumed manufacturer, Bassano, a region known for its high-quality ceramics.
The overall condition of the Sculpture is good, in accordance with its age. The porcelain has developed a subtle craquelure over the years, particularly visible on the head, which contributes to the authentic vintage character of the object. The structure is completely intact, and the glaze is well preserved.
Thanks to its monochrome palette and classic design, this Sculpture fits effortlessly into various interior styles, from modern to eclectic. It can serve as a striking floor object in a hallway, living room, or next to a sideboard.
