Product description
Old and amusing table mustard pot (condiment pot)
in enameled porcelain, designed during the 20th century.
This anthropomorphic piece takes the form of a small
lying pig, a traditional and highly sought-after theme
in humorous and bistro table art.
The animal's back is fitted with a removable lid with
a raised grip imitating a dark mane. The
rear part of the lid incorporates a notch (or
slot) specially designed to allow the small
original mustard spoon or paddle to pass through. The details
of the snout and eyes are delicately highlighted by fine
paint touches.
The underside of the piece reveals smooth and stable white
porcelain. This unusual object, perfect for
collectors of barbotine or retro bistro items,
will bring a touch of cheerfulness and authenticity.
Features:
• Theme: Pig (Table Mustard Pot)
• Material: Enameled porcelain
• Period: Mid-20th century
• Dimensions: Height 5 cm | Length 8 cm | Width 3.5 cm
• Condition: Splendid vintage condition.
The enamel has a very beautiful shine and the
lid fits perfectly.
