Product description
Striking vintage Polish printed linen textile, preserved as unused deadstock and produced by Krosnolen in Krosno, Poland. The design combines highly detailed black botanical illustrations with bold abstract accents in cobalt blue, violet, fuchsia and red. Large stylised flowers form an ornamental border around the textile, interspersed with graphic butterfly-like motifs. The contrast between the almost engraved floral drawing and saturated geometric colour gives the piece a distinctly 1970s modernist / folk-modern character. Made from a beautiful natural linen fabric with visible texture and a subtle sheen. The original factory label is still attached. Originally intended as a decorative table textile, but equally beautiful today as a tablecloth, wall hanging, textile art or source material for an interior project.
