Product description
This is a vintage Nikolaus folding chair, a design by IKEA, made from plywood. The model represents the functional and minimalist design ethos characteristic of Scandinavian furniture production. The chair is entirely constructed from light-colored, layered plywood, resulting in a construction that is both lightweight and robust. Both the seat and the ergonomically shaped backrest feature horizontal slots, a detail that is not only aesthetic but also contributes to comfort. The design is foldable, allowing the chair to be stored efficiently when not in use. The chair is in good, used condition consistent with its age and history. The original finish has been preserved, and the wooden surface has developed a characteristic patina. The mechanism functions properly. Due to its compact and versatile nature, this folding chair is a practical addition to various interiors. It is an ideal extra seat in a living room, study, or kitchen with a Scandinavian or minimalist decor.
