Product description
Beautiful and iconic mid-century modern wall unit from the Dutch design manufacturer Pastoe. This modular system comes from the well-known 'Made to Measure' series, designed in the 50s/60s by the legendary designer Cees Braakman.
It is a compact and highly sought-after arrangement of two cabinet sections. The cabinet has a beautiful contrast between the warm wood tones and the sleek, minimalist white veneer fronts, finished with the characteristic square handles.
The layout of the cabinet:
*Top left: Spacious two-door storage compartment with shelf
Top
*right: The very popular bar section (or secretary) with a fold-down white flap and an original glass shelf or, optionally, a shelf not shown in the photo. Equipped with built-in bar lighting, which creates an incredibly atmospheric effect in the evening when the flap is open.
*Middle: A stylish open compartment, ideal for books or decoration.
*Bottom: Four wide drawers (two per element) with the recognizable, beautifully curved wooden interiors by Pastoe.
Condition:
The cabinet is in neat and original vintage condition with light signs of use appropriate for its age.
The lighting in the bar section works properly. The doors, drawers, and bar flap close well.
Dimensions:
Width: 150 cm
Height: 128 cm
Depth: 61.5 cm
Who will let this Pastoe shine in their living room?
The cabinet is modular and can optionally be (partially) disassembled for transport.
