This vintage Pastoe KB04 wardrobe by Cees Braakman is a beautiful example of the clear, functional Dutch design from the 1950s. Designed for Pastoe, with a calm appearance in which simplicity and refinement are perfectly balanced. The cabinet is made of light birch wood, whose soft golden-blonde hue and natural grain give warmth to the sleek form. Behind the doors, a surprisingly practical interior unfolds: a spacious hanging section, multiple shelves, and a large mirror on the inside of the door. Below that is an elegantly curved wooden storage compartment – such a small detail in which Braakman's attention to daily use becomes visible. The characteristic loop-shaped legs give the substantial cabinet a strikingly airy silhouette. This vintage Pastoe KB04 wardrobe is in very good condition. In a few small places, the cabinet has been professionally restored, and it has also been fully checked, with respect for its original character and beautiful patina.
