This vintage Pastoe KB04 wardrobe by Cees Braakman is a beautiful example of the clear, functional Dutch design from the 1950s. Designed for Pastoe, with a calm appearance in which simplicity and refinement are perfectly balanced. The cabinet is made of light birch wood, whose soft golden-blonde hue and natural grain give warmth to the sleek form. Behind the doors, a surprisingly practical interior unfolds: a spacious hanging section, multiple shelves, and a large mirror on the inside of the door. Below that is an elegantly curved wooden storage compartment – such a small detail in which Braakman's attention to daily use becomes visible. The characteristic loop-shaped legs give the substantial cabinet a strikingly airy silhouette. This vintage Pastoe KB04 wardrobe is in very good condition. In a few small places, the cabinet has been professionally restored, and it has also been fully checked, with respect for its original character and beautiful patina. An understated design classic that hides surprising charm and storage space behind its minimalist facade.
