These three pans and two saucepans were designed by the Dutch designer Dick Simonis in 1959.
Unfortunately, I have to part with this set because I have moved, and the metal pans are not suitable for induction cooking.
The set has been in use for many years and has clearly accumulated signs of wear over six decades. The bottoms have also become a bit convex over time.
The Stedelijk Museum in Amsterdam and the Museum of Modern Art in New York have a set of these pans from 1959 in their permanent collection.
An interesting article about the design can be found here: https://zilverkamerzeist.nl/publicaties-bekroonde-pannenset-van-dick-simonis.html?utm_source=chatgpt.com
