This object is a vintage Finel Arabia "Orient" enamel teapot or coffee pot from Finland. The brown enamel is decorated with a characteristic black scroll or swirl pattern, designed by Raija Uosikkinen in the 1960s. Features and Design:
The teapot combines the work of two well-known Finnish designers.
Shape: The basic shape (the model) is often designed by Kaj Franck. Some sources also state that the model is based on the 'Kesti' series by Sigurd Persson and Arne Erkers.
