A stunning, authentic hand-blown art glass bowl from Murano (Italy), dating from the 1950s-1960s.
This model is known worldwide for its iconic "Tutti Frutti" (or Confetti) design.
The bowl is a beautiful example of mid-century Italian craftsmanship and is in excellent vintage condition (no chips or deep scratches).
The bowl features a deep blue base with a beautiful multicolored mosaic pattern of fused glass cores (murrine / millefiori). Aventurine (Gold Leaf): The glass is richly filled with encapsulated gold-colored metal flakes that shimmer beautifully in the light.
Organic shape: Finished with an elegantly wavy and pleated rim. Artisan finish: The base (foot ring) is perfectly flat and matte ground (molatura), with the pontil mark expertly concealed. This confirms its handmade character (not pressed glass or mass-produced). Diameter: 18 cm
