Milaan, ItalyView all items from this sellerA fairly common phenomenon in the 1960s, lamps made of chrome-plated metal and Murano glass are becoming increasingly scarce. The current example, kept in perfect conditions and characterized by its thick, material light shades in "hammered" glass, with deep orange accents on a clear base, is highly scenographic both on and off.
Probably designed by the famous architect and glass artist Toni Zuccheri during his time at Venini/VeArt, the lamp closely resembles Zuccheri's other lighting works, as well as vases, sculptures and ashtrays, especially those from the "Patchwork" and "Membrana" collections.
The offered lamp has been preserved in its original condition. It has light and foreseeable signs of use, with a light, even and pleasant patina on the chrome coating. The glasses have no cracks or dents and are still shiny. All mounting screws are present and original. It comes with light bulbs supplied, after a full inspection by a certified electrician.
