I found this rare chandelier in a villa near to Milan Northern Italy. It dates back to the 40s and has a typical birdcage shape in a gold coloured frame which was very common at the time.
The curvy lines of the structure are in gold with six arms each holding leaf shaped bobeches. This chandelier is on the larger side and is heavily decorated with crystal swags.
What tells really about its beauty and rarity is the number of authentic beads and very long drops from Murano, Venice which are very rare and difficult to find nowadays. So elegant and luminous, you really will just love this chandelier.
