Beautiful restored vintage Mid-Century Modern desk lamp, dating approximately from the 1960s. The lamp features a flexible adjustable gooseneck, allowing the shade to be positioned and the light directed as desired. The metal shade and base have been carefully refinished in an elegant emerald metallic green. The lamp has been fitted with a new electrical cable and new switch and is fully functional. The original gooseneck and metal stem show age-related wear, including a small dent and variations in the original metal finish. The rear side of the lower metal section has developed a warmer brass/golden tone, while the front remains more silver-grey. These signs of age are visible in the photographs and do not affect functionality. A distinctive and functional vintage piece, perfect for a desk, reading corner or Mid-Century Modern, industrial or retro interior. Manufacturer unknown.
