Product description
A characteristic and compact mid-century modern wall unit from the 1960s. Thanks to its modest dimensions and iconic, obliquely placed tapered legs, this piece of furniture is perfect for use as a stylish low bookcase, TV cabinet, or atmospheric audio unit for a record player.
Although the specific paper brand label on the back has been lost over the years, the cabinet exudes pure Scandinavian and German design quality from the sixties. The sleek construction and modular design show strong similarities with the well-known designs of brands such as Domino Møbler, Hundevad & Co. or the German WK Möbel.
The structural condition of the furniture is excellent, very sturdy.
Finish. The cabinet has probably undergone an additional treatment with a tinted lacquer/stain layer in the past. As a result, the furniture has a beautiful shine and a warm glow; the lacquer is somewhat unevenly distributed in a vintage characteristic way here and there. We find this a very special lowboard,
for the enthusiast, this is a beautiful object to display as is!
