Product description
Characterful vintage chest of drawers in Mid-Century style, from the 1960s. Particularly striking is the graphically designed front with its large, relief-like wooden handles, which give the furniture an unmistakable retro character. The chest of drawers is asymmetrically constructed: On the left is a spacious cabinet compartment with a door and a shelf, on the right are three stacked drawers. The drawers have light inner frames and offer practical storage space for smaller items, crockery, documents or home accessories. A special design feature are the applied horizontal wooden strips on the door and drawers. They each lead to a strong, softly rounded square wooden knob and create a striking geometric front design. The rectilinear body rests on a closed, slightly recessed plinth, making the furniture appear compact and architectural. The warm dark brown wood surface and visible grain emphasize the typical character of the era. Condition: The condition is used with authentic vintage patina. More noticeable age and use-related traces, abrasion, and smaller scratches are present on the top plate and especially on the front upper edge. Signs of wear are also found on individual front edges. Dimensions: L86 x W42 x H54 cm
