Product description
This is a vintage table lamp from West Germany, manufactured in the 1960s. The piece is a characteristic example of the Mid-Century period, executed in the famous "Fat Lava" style.
The lamp has a ceramic base with a vibrant, deep red glaze that transitions into dark, almost black accents, creating dramatic texture and depth. As indicated by the inscription "Handarbeit" on the underside, the base is handmade, making each piece unique. The lamp is completed by a classic, cream-colored fabric shade that diffuses a warm and soft light.
The overall condition of the lamp is good and consistent with its age. The ceramic base and original glaze are well preserved and show the characteristic patina of a vintage object. The lamp retains its authentic appearance and is a beautiful historical document.
This table lamp is a striking addition to any interior and fits perfectly on a sideboard, desk, or bedside table. The design adds a touch of color and sculptural form to both modern and eclectic decors.
Please note: The table lamp still has its original electrical connection.
