This rare, modernist wing chair was manufactured in Denmark during the 1960s. Upholstered in thick, natural leather in a deep shade of black, with a distinct patina and a beautiful network of cracks that tell the story of years of use. This isn't a defect — it's the noble layer of time that adds soul and authenticity to the piece. The backrest and sides are adorned with classic, deeply embossed Chesterfield quilting, adding sophistication and echoing classic English design. Thick armrests and a bucket shape provide comfort and stability. The high, slightly sloping backrest adds elegance and emphasizes the piece's shape. The entire piece rests on solid, turned solid wood legs — simple, yet stable and perfectly balanced. This armchair is a unique accent for interiors with a distinctive atmosphere. It will look great in an industrial loft, a classic office, as well as in interiors with a touch of Art Deco or an eclectic spirit. Perfect as a standalone piece in a reading room, next to a vinyl shelf, or as part of a relaxation area steeped in history.
