Special original vintage Michelin wall map on metal, issued for the Benelux. The map clearly states: Carte BENELUX 1968–1969 Excerpt from Michelin map no. 987 – 1968 Edition. A beautiful piece of nostalgia from the 1960s. This type of large metal Michelin map was used in garages, workshops, offices, and travel agencies, among other places. The map provides a nice overview of the road network of the Netherlands, Belgium, Luxembourg, and adjacent parts of Germany and France as it looked in the late 1960s. The map has a beautiful, authentic, weathered appearance. It is in used vintage condition with various signs of wear, minor damage, discoloration, and scratches.
