🇬🇧 Vintage Mauthe Wall Clock – Wood, Brass & Rope – Mid-Century
Beautiful and unusual vintage wall clock by Mauthe, featuring a dark wooden case, brass/gold-tone details and its distinctive braided rope suspension.
The round wooden case and dark wood dial are complemented by elegant gold-tone hour markers and hands.
Its most striking feature is the substantial braided rope surrounding the clock and forming the suspension, finished with decorative brass-tone fittings and a sculptural circular wall mount.
A wonderful example of German Mid-Century decorative design with subtle nautical and Hollywood Regency influences.

Bijzondere vintage wandklok van Mauthe, uitgevoerd in donker hout met goud-/messingkleurige details en een karakteristieke gevlochten koordophanging.
De ronde houten kast en wijzerplaat worden gecombineerd met elegante goudkleurige uurmarkeringen en wijzers. Rondom de klok loopt een stevig gevlochten koord dat tevens de ophanging vormt.
Messingkleurige bolvormige details en de decoratieve ronde muurbevestiging geven de klok zijn uitgesproken Mid-Century uitstraling met een subtiele nautische en Hollywood Regency touch.

Außergewöhnliche Vintage Wanduhr von Mauthe mit besonders dekorativer Aufhängung.
Die runde Uhr besitzt ein dunkelbraunes Holzgehäuse mit passendem Holzzifferblatt. Gold-/messingfarbene Stundenmarkierungen und filigrane Zeiger bilden einen eleganten Kontrast zum warmen Holzton.
Ein besonderes Designmerkmal ist die kräftige geflochtene Kordel, die das Gehäuse umläuft und gleichzeitig als Aufhängung dient.
