Tea for one tea/coffee pot in unused condition.
Commissioned by Douwe Egberts. The letters D-E are printed on the lid in yellow and are barely visible.
Designer: Matteo Thun was a member of the design group MEMPHIS.
Produced in a limited edition for Porzellan Manufaktur Arzberg.
His work was awarded the prestigious 'Compasso d'Oro', the highest Italian design prize, three times.
The set is part of the 'Fantasia' series by Arzberg, a company within the Rosenthal Group. The series was designed by Matteo Thun to mark the company's 100th anniversary.
Tea for one consists of a high-quality glazed teapot and a 'built-in', large teacup.
The striking colored handles resemble Mickey Mouse ears. Material : porcelain
