About this seller
ProfessionalProduct description
Black buffalo leather sofa by Marzio Cecchi from the 1970s – a rare designer piece with a sculptural presence and exceptional materiality.
The sofa combines the powerful design language of 1970s Italian design with the soft, vibrant texture of high-quality buffalo leather. Its generous proportions, striking, rounded armrests, and low profile lend the piece a calm yet commanding presence in any room.
The leather is particularly distinctive, having developed an authentic patina over the years, giving the sofa depth and individuality. The clean lines, combined with the understated metal legs, underscore the architectural appeal of the design.
The sofa is in very good condition with an age-related patina that highlights the original vintage character of this design classic.
A rare collector's item for lovers of Italian design, Marzio Cecchi, and high-quality vintage interiors.
