About this seller
ProfessionalProduct description
A striking lounge chair with matching footstool, a true highlight from the 1960s design era.
Designed by Richard Neagle for Sormani, known for futuristic mid-century design and exceptional seating comfort.
The chair has been newly and authentically restored. Upholstered in a pinkish-purple woven velour fabric with a subtle 3D effect, combined with an anthracite gray shell seat construction. Very comfortable, ergonomic seating; a strong statement both visually and functionally.
Special feature: The original footstool is included. This combination is extremely rare, as most surviving examples are only offered as individual chairs. The footstool makes the set not only more comfortable but also significantly more collectible.
A design classic that effortlessly makes a statement even today. Perfect for the living room, studio, showroom, or as a collector's item for lovers of rare vintage design.
