Product description
This vintage wall lamp, strongly inspired by Louis Kalff's designs for Philips, is a classic example of mid-century lighting. The elongated, rectangular silhouette offers a sleek and functional aesthetic characteristic of design from this period. The fixture is crafted from durable metal and finished in an understated grey shade. The lamp features a practical pull switch on the underside, contributing to its authentic character and ease of use. The construction reflects the solid manufacturing methods of the mid-twentieth century. The lamp is in good condition with a charming patina that highlights the object's age and history. The original finish and wiring have been preserved, enhancing the piece's authenticity. Unfortunately, the cord mechanism is currently not working. This fixture is a subtle addition to a modern or industrial interior. It functions excellently as mood lighting in a hallway or bedroom, or as accent lighting in a living space.
