A very beautiful vintage sautoir from the 1960s-1970s, composed of a succession of oval beads with marbled shades of cobalt blue, sky blue, and white. Each bead has its own unique pattern, made of swirls and movements of color reminiscent of the veins of a polished stone. This variation gives a lot of depth to the piece and creates a beautiful, almost mineral effect, which is particularly luminous. The glossy synthetic beads, characteristic of costume jewelry from this period, gradually increase in size towards the center. Small blue spacer beads punctuate the composition and highlight the large oval shapes. With its lovely length of approximately 62 to 64 cm, this sautoir can be worn naturally over a décolletage or a garment. It will truly come into its own when worn with a white shirt, a navy dress, denim, or a more understated black outfit. The cylindrical screw clasp in gilded metal completes this piece, which is very representative of the colorful costume jewelry of the 1960s and 1970s.
