Stellan Morner lived from 1896 to 1979. He was a Swedish count, painter, draftsman, theater decorator and writer. Mörner belonged to the so-called of the Halmstad group and is considered a great surrealist. His surreal painting is characterized by playful and romantic flashbacks, experiments, painting on pieces of wood, stone and wrecks, collages and poem paintings, finger painting and handprints. He presented his works not only in Scandinavia, but also in Paris and London.
