About this seller
Private sellerProduct description
This is a set of two vintage books by the American author Leon Uris, published by Hollandia. The set includes the well-known titles "Exodus" and "Q.B. VII", both presented in decorative hardcovers characteristic of the publisher during that period.
The books are Dutch translations, published by Hollandia N.V. in Baarn. "Exodus" is the 27th edition from 1967 and "Q.B. VII" is the fifth edition from 1971. Both editions have a linen- or paper-bound hardcover, respectively in a sage green and a bright red color, richly decorated with gold foil in a geometric pattern on the spine.
Both copies are in good, well-maintained condition commensurate with their age. The books are structurally intact and the gold foil on the spines is clear and well-preserved. The books come with the original or later added transparent plastic dust jackets that contribute to their preservation.
This set makes an elegant addition to a bookshelf, desk, or sideboard in a classic, eclectic, or vintage interior. The striking spines offer a refined visual accent and a touch of literary history.
