Product description
Original vintage Labofa swivel chair from Denmark, presumably from the 1960s. A beautiful and increasingly hard-to-find example of Scandinavian Mid-Century design. Similar Labofa swivel chairs from this period are attributed to the Danish designer Jørgen Rasmussen and are also referred to as KEVI-style. The chair still has its beautiful original brown/green mottled fabric upholstery, black piping and characteristic aluminum/chrome construction. The base consists of an elegant four-arm aluminum star base with original wheels. The original Labofa logo is present on both the back mechanism and one of the legs. The chair is swivel and equipped with various adjustment options for, among other things, seat height and backrest. All mechanisms have been tested and are functional. The original code 0488 is also present on the underside. For its age, the chair is in beautiful original vintage condition. The upholstery shows normal signs of use and age but is, especially compared to many examples from this period, well preserved. The metal base also shows signs of use appropriate for its age. See the photos for the exact condition.
