Product description
Cool pair of boxing gloves from 1950 by the well-known brand Ken-Wel (the largest manufacturer of boxing gloves in the 1920s/30s). This pair was presumably used in the army, given the U.S. stamp of the American government. It is also striking that one boxing glove dates from August and the other from September. This reinforces the suspicion that they were used in the army, as they were purchased and stored in large quantities at the same time. When soldiers received equipment for training, the gloves were often picked loosely from large bins or shelves. As long as the size was correct, a difference in production date did not matter to the army at the time. The leather has no tears and is in good condition. Dimensions: L29 cm x W19 cm x H9 cm
