DESCRIPTION: A very large and practical Jieldé industrial factory lamp / work lamp / desk lamp in matte black lacquered metal, circa 1950. The lamp was designed by Jean Louis Domecq in 1951 to create a factory lamp that could be attached anywhere and turn in all directions without the wire getting tangled. And also be sturdy. A very successful design. With the built-in vice, you can attach the lamp anywhere on the edge. The lamp turns on and off with the switch near the head. The same lamps are still made today but of lower quality. This lamp still has its original bakelite fitting and original matte black finish. In short, a true industrial icon and a very practical lamp. DIMENSIONS: (adjustable) max height: 115cm max width: 73cm Depth: 20cm 2 lamps available. CONDITION: Good and working condition, light signs of use consistent with age (see last photos) PICK UP OR SHIPPING: (can also be delivered) This item can be picked up in the showroom in Amsterdam South by appointment.
