A distinguished mid-20th-century Japanese Imari porcelain jar with lid, standing 29 cm tall. Hand-painted in the traditional kinrande style—underglaze cobalt blue with overglaze red and sumptuous gold accents. Rich floral cartouches and well-executed gilt details cover the body and lid. The lid fits snugly. In very good vintage condition, with no visible chips or cracks and minimal wear consistent with age. A striking piece of Japanese export porcelain, ideal for display on shelves, mantels, or as a decorative storage jar. Perfect condition, no chips or cracks. Packed securely with bubble wrap and kraft paper inside a sturdy box.
